Meet Our Team
Jeremy Parker
Jeremy Parker is the Director of Band Programs, a role he has held since 2012, and the District Coordinator of Fine Arts, a role he has served since 2022, at Bixby Public Schools. In this capacity, he provides leadership and oversight for all of Bixby’s fine arts programs, supporting instrumental and vocal music, theatre, and visual arts across the district. He conducts the Bixby Wind Ensemble and leads the Pride of Bixby Marching Band, one of the district’s most consistently successful and visible student organizations.
Under Mr. Parker’s leadership, the Bixby Band program has experienced sustained growth and national recognition. The Pride of Bixby Marching Band is a seven-time Class 6A-II State Champion and a consistent finalist at Bands of America Regional and Super Regional Championships. Bixby band students regularly participate in regional, state, and national honor ensembles and have performed in prestigious international events, including the London New Year’s Day Parade, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, and the International Band Competition in Limerick, Ireland.
In addition to his work in Bixby, Mr. Parker serves as Artistic Director of Starlight Concerts Tulsa and conductor of the Starlight Wind Ensemble, Oklahoma’s only professional wind ensemble, which has been bringing wind band music to audiences since 1946. He is also on the board of directors for the Zephyrus Arts Institute and conductor of the Tulsa Winds.
Mr. Parker holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Education in Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He is a member of Green Country Band Directors Association, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, Oklahoma Music Educators Association, Phi Beta Mu National Bandmaster Fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, National Association for Music Education, World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles, and Rotary International. He was named 2025 Director of the Year by the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association. His supportive wife, Melissa Parker, is an accomplished speech-language pathologist specializing in dyslexia treatment.
BRANDON COLLINS
Brandon Collins is the Associate Director of Bands and the Coordinator of High School Band Operations at Bixby Public Schools. In this capacity, he serves as the senior operational leader of the Bixby Bands, working in partnership with the Director of Band Programs. He conducts the Bixby Symphonic Winds and leads the woodwind caption for the Pride of Bixby Marching Band. At Bixby Middle School, Mr. Collins co-teaches the 5th Hour 7th Grade Band and the 8th Grade Symphonic Band, and he teaches Beginning Woodwinds at both North and East Intermediate. Mr. Collins also serves as the Basketball Band Director, and he coaches the Bixby Clarinet Ensemble.
Mr. Collins has earned numerous superior ratings and sweepstakes at OSSAA District and State Contests for marching band, concert band, and sight-reading performances, and he has served as the NCDA high school chair for 2017-2018 and GCBDA President for 2024-2025. His students have received numerous superior ratings for both solos and ensembles at Solo and Ensemble Contest, and his private clarinet studio includes All-District and All-State students from all over Oklahoma. Currently, he is a conductor for Tulsa Winds, and he has served as a member of the Tulsa Praise Orchestra, Starlight Band, and as the director of the Celebrations Choir and Frontline Singers for Tulsa Praise Orchestra.
His professional affiliations include Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, and Oklahoma Music Educators Association, where he serves as a chairperson for the 2024-2028 term. Currently, he is the All-State Symphonic Band Chairperson.
GEOFFREY ANIKIENKO
Geoff Anikienko is the Assistant Director of Bands, the Director of Percussion Studies, and the Coordinator of Marching Band Operations at Bixby Public Schools. He serves as the instructional leader of the Bixby Bands percussion program while providing leadership for the planning, coordination, and execution of marching band operations and instructional systems. He teaches every percussion student in the district from 6th through 12th grade and conducts both the Middle School and High School Percussion Ensembles. In addition, Mr. Anikienko serves as a designer and arranger for the Pride of Bixby Marching Band, contributing to the ensemble’s award-winning field productions.
An accomplished performer, Mr. Anikienko has marched with world-class drum and bugle corps, including Crossmen and Bluecoats, and has performed professionally in symphony orchestras. He continues to perform actively, sharing his expertise in percussion across a wide variety of musical settings.
Mr. Anikienko holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Houghton University and completed graduate studies in percussion performance at Cleveland State University. His professional affiliations include Green Country Band Directors Association, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, and Oklahoma Music Educators Association.
Andrea Bahena
Andrea Bahena is the Assistant Director of Bands and the Co-Coordinator of Sixth Grade Bands at Bixby Public Schools. At the high school, she assists the woodwind caption in the Pride of Bixby Marching Band and coaches the Flute Ensembles. At the middle school, she co-teaches 4th Hour 7th Grade Band and assists teaching the 8th Grade Bands. She also teaches Beginning Woodwinds at Central and West Intermediate. She is originally from Arlington, Texas, is a woodwind specialist with expertise in classical flute. She is a graduate from Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education.
Most recently, Ms. Bahena served as Assistant Director of Bands at Rice ISD in Rice, Texas from 2024 to 2026. During her time there, she successfully ran the middle school program to receive straight superior ratings at the Texas UIL Evaluation for the first time in 9 years.
Ms. Bahena is passionate about creating an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment while helping students foster a love for music.
BRENT BALDWIN
Brent Baldwin is the Assistant Director of Bands, Director of Jazz Studies, and Coordinator of Student Engagement at Bixby Public Schools. He serves as the leader of the district’s jazz program while providing strategic leadership for student engagement across Bixby Bands. At the high school, Mr. Baldwin conducts the Symphony Band, High School Jazz Ensemble I, and serves as the coach for the Saxophone Ensembles. At the middle school, he conducts the Middle School Jazz Ensembles. He assists with the Pride of Bixby Marching Band as co-lead of the woodwind caption, and he teaches the AP Music Theory and Applied Music Courses at the high school.
Mr. Baldwin holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music in Wind Conducting from Oklahoma State University. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is an active performer in the Tulsa area. His professional affiliations include Green Country Band Directors Association, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, Oklahoma Music Educators Association, and the Oklahoma Jazz Educators Association.
Trey Lack
Trey Lack is the Assistant Director of Bands and the Coordinator of Middle School Band Operations at Bixby Public Schools. In this capacity, he serves as instructional and operational leader of the middle school band program. He leads the brass caption for the Pride of Bixby Marching Band, conducts the High School Concert Band and 8th Grade Wind Ensemble, co-teaches the 5th Hour 7th Grade Band, teaches brass at North and East Intermediate Schools, and coaches the Bixby Trumpet Ensemble. Prior to joining Bixby, Mr. Lack served as Assistant Director of Bands at Broken Arrow and Berryhill Public Schools.
Mr. Lack holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Music Education in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Oklahoma. His ensembles have consistently earned superior ratings at OSSAA district and state contests, and his private students regularly achieve All-District and All-State honors.

Mason Moore
Mason Moore is the Assistant Director of Bands and the Co-Coordinator of Sixth Grade Bands at Bixby Public Schools. He serves as visual caption head for the Pride of Bixby Marching Band, co-teaches the 4th Hour 7th Grade Band, assists in teaching 8th grade band, teaches Beginning Brass at Central and West Intermediate Schools, and coaches the Bixby Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble.
A music educator and tubist from Bentonville, Arkansas, Mr. Moore earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Arkansas. He has a diverse background in the marching arts, performing with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, Resistance Indoor Percussion, and multiple seasons of winter guard. He has also served on staff with Bentonville High School and as a visual technician for the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps.

Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson is the Assistant Director of Bands and Assistant Director of Percussion studies at Bixby Public Schools. He serves as the conductor of the Jazz II Ensemble, and he assists the Director of Percussion Studies in the development and instruction of all percussion students and ensembles. Mr. Johnson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Oklahoma and has previously served as the Percussion Instructor for Holland Hall Schools.
In addition to his teaching experience, Jack has an extensive background in the marching arts. He has served as a Percussion Technician for the Zephyrus Drum and Bugle Corps as well as with the Pride of Bixby. As a performer, Jack marched one season of Open Class indoor percussion with Resistance.
Caitlyn Pettersson
Caitlyn Fowler is the Director of Color Guard Operations at Bixby Public Schools. Her duties include teaching all guard classes, including a class at the Bixby Middle School. Caitlyn is also responsible for choreographing the fall marching show, and writing and designing all winter guard productions.
Caitlyn has performed for multiple different world class organizations in Drum Corps International and Winter Guard International. Her experiences include spinning for The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps, The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, and Black Gold Winter Guard. Additionally, Caitlyn was the Co Caption head of color guard for Zephyrus Drum and Bugle Corps.
Her professional affiliations include Oklahoma Bandmaster’s Association, Oklahoma Jazz Educators Association, and Oklahoma Music Educators Association.
Lauren Tucker
Lauren Tucker is the Director of Color Guard Education at Bixby Public Schools. Prior to arriving at Bixby, she worked with several local high schools in the Tulsa area, including Broken Arrow (2021–2025), Coweta (2022–2025), and Bartlesville (2022–present). In addition to her local efforts, she has also worked with five out-of-state programs as a freelance choreographer.
Lauren has marched in world class drum corps and independent winter guard programs. In 2021, she marched with the Madison Scouts during the corps’ first coed season in its history. She then went onto perform with The Blue Devils from 2022–2025. While at BD, she earned two World Championships and won the George Zingali Award for Best Color Guard in 2023. Lauren was also performed as a member of Blue Devils International in the summer of 2026.
During the Independent Winter Guard season, Lauren was a member of Zephyrus Independent from 2024–2025. After aging out of A Class, she went on to perform with Fantasia Winter Guard, where she became the 2026 World Class Bronze Medalist.
